Would a 1985 535i ,make a good donor car for auto to manual conversion, pedalbox? , spedo?

Mark/burky, you need to use the Search function. This topic has been discussed over and over again.

The short answer is no. Find and use a Getrag 265 with cable output for the speedo.

The pedal box will not work for sure, you can add the speedo gear drive to a later box but you need the parts.
