Hi there
I am beginning to assemble pieces for a refurb of a '73 Bavaria. One change will be a swap to a Getrag 265 5 speeeeeeeed. So...other than manual pedal assemblies from related cars (E3/E9/2800, etc) what other pedal assemblies work? Will later model pedal assemblies from E34/5 series for example work? Does anyone on this forum have a used manual pedal assembly and peripherals for sale?

Regards,
Bill P

none. you need to get one from a manual e3.
but, with that said, you only need the clutch pedal and the longer bolt.

I was told it's the same brake pedal from 3 different people
Chris is right. I’ve done this conversion three times. You don’t need the pedal box just the pedals. Both pedals. You can’t use the auto brake pedal. Also be aware that 74 and later clutch pedals have a larger clutch return spring mounted on them that slips into a notch on the pedal box. Earlier style (pre-74) pedals used a spring that simply hooked to the pedal box. Pictured are a set of 73 pedals I sold a few years ago. Should go without saying but only pedals from an e3 or e9 will work.
