5 speed

I plan on using the e12 Driveshaft for the conversion of my 4 speed to 5 speed. (I will relocate the center bearing bracket to do this) My question is does it matter if I use a 4 speed e12 drive shaft or 5 speed e12 drive shaft? Are they the same?

The 4 and 5 speed transmissions are different lengths, so you should have to use the 5 speed one, if memory serves. The center support bearing is about 5" more towards the rear of the car, by the by.

Check the U-joints before installing d-shaft and if--

binding then have the driveshaft professionally O'hauled
