Sorry Erik,
reality has set in!
I am picking up a Porsche 951 tomorrow to be my track car. So if anyone is interested in a 73 2002 polaris project car speak now.
I have a nice set of panasports with new z rated tires and some other suspension parts .

That car really seems to be in a bad shape!
I like the wide bodykit though!
Anybody who knows if that kind of bodykit are available in Europe?
Have seen that a company in the US, makes a couple of different bodykits for the E9.
But the shipping and custom/tax makes them kind of expensive!

Bat!

Call me crazy, but I'm tempted. Its "somewhat" local to me and I've been half-heartedly looking for a track car to build. I don't have the time, so I probably won't do anything more than think about it, but it would be perfect for the 3.2L turbo motor I have out of an '83 745i. Might be kinda fun blasting around Thunderhill or Sears Point eh? Our fabrication shop isn't quite ready yet, so it would be an eye-sore for awhile.

You had better put a tube frame under it. From looking at the rockers it looks like it could snap in half.

I do love the wide body.

I have seen this car in the flesh and its quite an challenging project.
I have some pics from original SF,CA auction if anyone is seriously considering it. Also have VIN info.

Better be a real good welder, but the fares and wings looked nice to me.

No affiliation, bla bla bla, just hate to see CS's go to the wreckers.
Reach me off list.

Did it sell???
Apart from the rear wing is it even worth it for the parts?
By the time you put your time and energy into removing the fiberglass wouldn't you be better off just getting the gp 5 kit from dan,
