69 2800CS found for sale.

Just return from a long ride looking at a 69 2800 CS with 30K original. Beige exterior and Blk leather interior. Need minor body work and dash and wood restoration. Car is drivable. My wife says no to $7000 purchase so if anyone is interested I will give you details.Call me @ 508-277-8698.

Based on my viewing of the EBayMotors listing, this car needs more than a light restoration from viewing the pictures. For a car with such low mileage, I would imagine it to be in nicer condition. Obviously, have not seen it in person, but photos generally are kinder to a car than reality, and she seems a bit rough....

Shows as sold for $4k on EBay. Not many pictures and they aren't very good so hopefully the new owners saw it in person.

BTW - Seller has some choice words for the comments on this post. All caps doesn't help with credibility

if that car truly only needed a light resto ... it would have sold for a lot more than $4k. i didn't see the car either, but from the pix - i had no interest.

hopefully the new owner will be a good steward and bring this car back. hopefully he will seek better advice than the seller has to offer.
