Awhile back, I stumbled onto the autoscout24.com website and out of curiosity I started hunting for vintage BMW's in Europe. I bookmarked the site, and forgot all about it. Today during lunch, I created a vintage car search... and OMG. I had no idea this vehicle existed...

I've ridden in a convertible 3-series and a convertible '65 Mustang, but wow. This was amazing: a 1971 2800cs cabrio..

Anyways.. happy Wednesday everyone. Something to aspire to.

He used e30 convertible pieces and essentially built the car out to support the engineering and design. They were exceptionally well done and looked as if they had been produced by BMW. If I recall correctly, his personal car had an m106b35 in it from the last iteration of the 745i. Just great inspired work really.

One of the top searches... is right here. I should've figured that would happen.
