I always love it when folks describe "surface rust" on an e9. While it sometimes is only that, too often it is the surface eruption of the oxidized structures below as we all know.

Still the Goodyear blimp views of this car from 30000 feet look pretty reasonable for the price and it is in California, the Coupe State (I hear this is to be voted on in the next legislative session).

As of Wednesday the 29th the Craigslist ad is gone - either the car sold, or vanished due to the "surface rust".

Great - that means the issue will be deadlocked for the next 6 months, and then a "Department of e9 Affairs" will be created and staffed with 987 bureaucrats.

Also all E9s will get a gold HOV sticker for the rear quarter panel but a special fee will need to be paid!

Paint it put a stereo in add some Alpina stock rims and there you go and original E9.
