'72 3.0CS RM Sotheby's auction in Palm Beach

$41,000 including premium. Looks very well bought to me! Bargain time out there if you have the money and the gumption.
 
What I find interesting is that this is a euro 226 vin coupe and yet it has the DOT/EPA and FMVSS stickers on it which doesn’t make sense. That motor was never tested and approved for the US (9.0:1).
 
There's a Dino 246 for sale on BaT currently where there is an extensive discussion about the availability of "reproduction" DOT and FMVSS stickers for the purpose of California registration. Just sayin'...

Except these are obviously very old. And it has the speed/smog relay next to the coil and seat belt warning on dash.
