'72/'73 CS now on BaT

My very novice opinion… just a nice old driver. Lots of character. seller does not appear to be hiding anything here.

Interesting to see the yellowing in the enige bay. It isn't bad thing thing in my belief.
You can't recreate patina.
Yes exactly...it seems Polaris paint does this over time if not touched (especially in the engine bay)...i.e. a good thing, yes.

May not look good aesthetically, to those that don't know this.

The seller Wob is a heavy hitter on BaT if you look at his profile and all listings bought/sold seem to be quality presentations.

Check out the 75th Anniversary Porsche Collection:

No affiliation whatsoever...anyhow, nice to see an E9 in this shape, honestly presented it seems. I hope it hits reserve as it seems to me it has a long way to go.

The whole car looks solid, except this. Where is this exactly?

it appears to be the transmission tunnel above the exhaust system - i imagine heat from the exhaust has burnt the undercoating off, so that why it’s rusted through, unless it’s had a lot of water inside.
