Have thoroughly enjoyed my short time here in this group.( think less than two weeks) . Have learned alot.
Have had this old girl about 15 years and after restoring and working on everyone else stuff, it's time to do this one. Absolutely a blast to drive....
Need a lot of stuff for it, and I'm sure with the help of peeps here it will all come together nicely.
Thanks Tom Wilburn

You have North American market 73 front bumper guard rubber, similar to the 73 coupes, as well as the longer front bumper irons. Does it still have the DOT/EPA sticker under the hood?

We'll.......
When I bought this I got some boxes of parts as well...one piece is a bumper section that I've never even really looked at...the front bumper brackets I've yet to take off are actually bent I alittle to the passenger side..I will be straightening. Possibly the bumper was replaced with a different one. There is a plate with vintage number in the dog house. I'll get a picture and post it.
Very interesting.

A little bit off-topic... What's with the rusty area at the back of the rear wheel well on these cars? Almost every E3 I've seen has issues in this area, including my '69. Does this area trap dirt/moisture? I didn't notice anything obvious on mine.

That question have not an answer for...although both sides have done the same.
I have

had to weld in a repair on the inner fender well on the drivers side....anticipate similar on passenger side. I do not see any entrapment on the inside.
What I do notice is that the rear window corner and the side trim type panel behind the rear side windows is right above said rust areas....
Some with more knowledge thank my self would no more

Well thanks .. I am learning so much from you guys
Obviously need some new stickers some time. Lol
Oh I need more than some stickers. Lol
But it's moving forward
