'72 BMW 3.0 CS - $15k (St Louis, MO)

The ad says intact and whole but it isn't because the rust worms already feasted on some of it and they are probably lurking underneath eating even more.

The guy is pretty honest if you talk to him… it’s been sitting in a barn for a very very long time. He started selling off a few pieces of the car. Tail lights and the rear finisher That I know of. I’m sure there are a few more.

There is rust for sure but I never actually went and looked at it. Didn’t get that far As I really wanted a 2800 instead and found it shortly after speaking With him.

Yeah I spoke with him yesterday as well. For some parts, not the whole car but I got that impression too, seems legit and I think is getting a little more realistic about the pricing.

I see large holes in the front left fender top, so expect that it needs whole new sills and front structure. Think 15K in sheet metal alone IF YOU DIY it.

still, it does have it's original and rare Pre mid-73 chin part, so the 'no accident' claim seems to hold true for the front section.

A cool way to get started on a low budget, but do buy 10 bottles of welding gas first....
