Whoa, didn't anyone notice the rear bumpers?????? Why would anyone do that? And 6,777 were produced in `72, not 1200 in total as it implies.
 
I am no expert but there are guys on this site who are. Post as many photos of everything. The rear bumper make me suspicious. $19K for an sutomatic in this conditon seems way high to me.

Does your mechanic know anything about coupes and rust hiding in the usual spots?

While the mechanic is there, ask him to write down the VIN so we may register this one.
Where did those bumpers come from??? Reminds me of those hip-hop kids wearing pants one size too big!
 
The car looks very original except for the Baveria rear bumper..

It is very hard to tell but the car looks very original and very clean in the photos... The Baveria rear bumper is possibly a major issue why is it there? Maybe it was some minor damage or bad chrome and they could not find the correct rear bumper?

Only a hands on inspection will tell for sure. If the car is rust free with a Sunroof and there was no major drama in the rear body panels then asking $19K might be a fair price.

Nicely restored rust free cars with chrome bumpers and with Sunroofs even with Autos are very tough to find.
