73’ Bavaria Thermostat

Hi fellows,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me the correct thermostat for my 73’ Bavaria.

I bought the car last year and coolant temperature never went above 60c.

So I decided to replace it along with a few coolant hoses.

I order thermostat part#11 53 1 307 737 since that was the only option from the site I ordered from. When comparing the old one with the new one there seem a few differences.

Anyways, could someone please point me in the right direction. I’m new to the Bavaria’s.

11531307737 belongs in later cars.

You need this..

Thermostat fits 80° standard for all models and years of manufacturing only for the original thermostat housing, you need 1 for 1 car
