'73 3.0 CS in No Cal (SF area)

I'm concerned about the tarpaper around the strut towers-
Still worth looking at.
Have you spoken with the seller?

Just got off the telephone with him. Sounds like a "project". It's life span - Berkeley, CA to the Mid-West to Los Gatos, CA. It's got 'some' rust. Says the shock towers, wheel wells, spare tire well, nose/valance are clean. Does have some bubbles in the paint job though. Some bondo in the passenger side door. Needs a new interior (seats, headliner, door panels, wood). No cracks in the dash. Needs paint (a poorly painted Baikal Blue). Needs bumpers (damaged). Needs a 5-speed transmission :)D). No working AC. Windows all work. VIN #2240874. Is it registered? Chris

Bumpers need straightening? How about just turning front bumper guards over, it's a 73 after all! And it's going 20mph at 300rpm, ought to do 200mph at 3000rpm.

Cracked paint, needs interior, bumpers need straightened, dents, etc. And just think, all that for just $24000. What a bargain!!!!

For some reason I wish this car was priced between 18-21k...I will not comment on the value of the car as it is too hard to tell from where I am sitting. But at a price of less than 20K this could warm someones heart even though it will certainly cool their pocketbook.
