I believe this car was for sale on Craigslist in CT a while back. Looked a bit rough and had very few pics so I declined to go check it out. Current seller took many more pics, so you should be able to get a better idea of condition. Assuming my memory is accurate, the car was more in the $1500 range before...

1973 E3 3.0s (same chassis as "Bavaria") for sale
119k on chassis. Paint is rough but the patina is perfect. Interior needs further detailing but is all there, minus two pieces of carpet. Does not run but I had a running donor motor located. From my inspection, the car is nearly rust free minus some surface spots. It sat in a barn for over 30 years so there are areas of the car that are somewhat dirty, but it has received an extensive cleaning so far that will continue until the vehicle is sold. Electrical system seems to be in fine working condition.
$2,000 obo.

Price reduction in recent Craigslist ad says $1550 but recent post (24 April) on the E3 Facebook page say price reduced to $1500 firm. Maybe the price has dropped farther in the past month. Show up a with trailer and cash in hand and make an offer and tell the seller you'll make it disappear, I bet it will follow you home.
