Agreed that it wasn’t ‘73, and that there is definitely two different versions. Agreed that all 2800CS had no hole for the hazard. This is where I post pictures, and you say they may not be original, and quote the dates in the parts book.

The registry is down so not much to chose from. Easily 70% of the ‘72’s have the forward facing hazard button. These don’t, including some ‘71’s.

I will rephrase my statement, all US/NA market 3.0CS coupes have the hand rail button. There were no 71 US market 3.0 coupes and euro coupes have all sorts of odd registration dates. And euro cars didn’t have these flashers back then.

Just found this in the parts book, the underdash panel that held the switch on the 2800CS changed with the introduction of the 3.0CS for all markets.
