73 E9 Engine Conversion

I have a friend that has:
M30B35
This engine has a capacity of 3,430 cc (209.3 cu in), despite the "B35" model code. It produces 155 kW (208 bhp) and 305 N⋅m (225 lb⋅ft),
It has a compression ratio of 9.0:1 and uses Bosch Motronic 1.3 digital fuel injection.
Applications:
1988-1989 E24 635CSi
1986-1992 E32 735i[45]2[46]
1987-1992 E34 535i
1988-1989 Rayton Fissore Magnum 3.5[47]

Can this block fit on an E9 motor mounts?

Yes it can. These motors thru 1988 still had bosses on the exhaust side that uses the stock b30 mount. If it doesn’t Koala sells and adapter plate that bolts to the block.

HB do you think anyone on the forum maybe interested can forward a link? This is he same engine I used in my E9 converted to normally asperated just could not remember about those bosses.

I built my own adapter out of a 11" piece of 1/4"x3" bar stock.
