So I have a 74 with the ugly bumpers. I have been waiting patiently for years for BluntTech to make a kit like they do for the 2002's and
a few other models. Where they sell the bumpers and the brackets to hold them to the frame rails. Curious what others have done when
they have replaced the 5 MPH bumpers with stainless bumpers. How have you dealt with the brackets for the front and rear, and what bumpers
were you able to source. Even if you have a pattern for the brackets I am sure that I can find a shop to make them for me. Any insight is greatly
appreciated.

Coupe king sells the 1974 special brackets you need.

The word "UGLY" always precedes the words '74 bumpers in my mind. In print it may not be visible but it is there!!

I finally found a Euro front bumper (already has Euro rear) and I still have my arms and both legs. But by the time it gets restored, I will be missing one or the other. Found it through Ebay Germany, had to have it sent to my cousin in Holland, he is breaking it down as I type and resending to me. May need some rubber if I can find. Most f it looks restorable, but may need a rubber horn. Anyone have any lines on that repop or OEM?

Shawn, I never learned to dive off boards or even the side of the pool. More of a body surfer. So nothing against diving boards - in their place, where they belong. On the front and rear of a classic BMW "that word" still applies.

Glad to hear you finally found that delicate, chrome, most beautiful bumper.
