75 CSi Fjord

Nice looking car but feels off with the early interior to me... seat belts are not where I would expect them either.

that big, cheap, orange screwdriver is like a wart on a witches nose.

Rusty pliers, missing tools, orange screwdriver?

Why do European sellers ALWAYS present obvious defects and NEVER ask for review before they post their ads?

And shocked when the car sells for 10’s of thousands less than a properly curated sale.

Mr. Macha should be on a worldwide retainer to clean this mess up.

Where’s @Tate on this one? He was looking for a car with non-red interior and it’s at least here in Seattle. But I agree, Don, seems like well worth having someone in the know look over the car. The photos are also sort of dark and may not do it justice.

there are a lot of things done on this car, but as long as one doesn't overpay, they can afford to fix the issues. there is a nice interior to sell so that the new owner can buy the correct seats. i also thought most fjord cars had blue interiors (originally).

Those aren't coupe seats? Looks like them to me however the way they are upholstered look overstuffed and the pleats are vertical, not horizontal (if that makes sense). The leather looks nice and they look comfy but does look "off" because of the way they were reupholstered...if not coupe seats, what are they from?

It looks like the front windows don't go all the way down and who knows about the rears?
They did add a few shots of the suspension and the bottom of the engine in the comments but the shots of the engine from above are pretty dark.
Up to $61K with 2 days to go.

What's the round pull handle on the trim panel below the two red switches?
Never seen that before.

Critical pics of prone rust points are missing. A PPI by a knowledgeble person would be my advice.
you can drive it with a bit of rust, with a lot of rust even, but the value of the car depends (for me) greatly on something I can't asses based on these 222 pics.

Missong from the toolse are the small and large red screwdriver, small pliers and some open and closed spanners. 200 to 400 euro max (if you want them tomorrow) and it would be a complete set.
It still has the scarce 10 mm allen key, wheel pin, and the large pliers.

Rest of the car seems to be assembled and painted quite well. Nice door gaps and flushness.

If build to sell, then i agree that getting these last bits right make the difference between a nice car and a flawless car. I'm noting also the fairly dull ("patina-ed") door latch and trunk catches for instance.
If the restoration was done on a tight budget, these misisng trunk tools are fairly easy to add later on when funds become available. As are a few of the shiny bits that could benefit from a fresh zinc coat.

Someone's going to have a nice car. 61KUSD seems about right.
