I can’t remember but I think Ben and the owner brought this to Monterey in 2016 so maybe before it was ‘restored’ by Ben. Lots of paint and filler in that engine bay.

I see so 2002AD aka CSI aka Chamonix "restored" it after all - not fond of them.

If it is the same coupe it may have had Alpina graphics at one time which were removed. Ben has imported many BMWs from Japan.

Be careful. If the dmv also sees it as a 76 you will have to deal with CA smog test.

For the curiosity: what are those front blinkers? Never seen them. Guess they are part of the mentioned facelift.
