http://tucson.craigslist.org/cto/1594220798.html Very early E24 for sale in Tucson AZ

http://darrelnewell.com/bmw630cs.html Ad doesn't say if autotragic or manual gearbox. Did the first Euro E24's come with a carb? Hopefully it's been AZ a long time and is relatively rust free. Since it's not smog exempt in CA and a gray market car, do your homework if you live in CA and you are interested in this car. AMHIK!

Interesting car. It is manual transmission (4 speed probably) with carburators.

Doing a little research on this website shows that this E24 is a manual gearbox and is not fuel injected (Solex 4 barrel carb).

http://www.cs-zone.com/E24 CHASSISNUMMERS.htmhttp://www.cs-zone.com/E24 CHASSISNUMMERS.htm This is probably the earliest E24 still in existance. It's the 302 E24 off the assembly line which started in 10/75. US spec E24 production didn't start until 06/76. You just don't find early E24's in Germany. They've all gone to the crusher due to a few winters of road salt, they can't pass the strict TUV inspection standards
