So yesterday I wanted to test the cooling system and the ac of my 72 Agave Bavaria. It was in the low 90s so a valid test of both. I picked up John Moffet, another Rocket Dog.

He asked, "What is the route Steve?"

I replied, going up River Road on the Jersey side and turning right onto an unfamiliar road and just drive."

About 20 minutes into the drive, cooling system at 11, ac turned down, it blows so cold, I say to John, "I have no idea where we are."

He replies, "That's okay Steve, we are making good time."

I almost had to pull over I was laughing so hard.

Those are the best drives.... I found some of the best roads I have ever driven doing that (before GPS when you really had no idea what was around the next corner - so to speak).

Tell it, John.....Just tonight over-heard on the tele, "If you don't know where you are going, any road will suffice..." attributed to Lewis Carroll
(Of course the reference was about Iran-Israel conflict...not couping)

Well, when the drive began I was somewhere. The goal, which I met was to end up nowhere. But again, we were making good time going nowhere.

What fun!

I am reminded of the sage orator and philosopher Alfalfa of the little rascals who famously said "I don't know where we're going, but we're on our way"....
