A quick AC question (such a thing?)

I have the original system, sorted all the leaks. Where do people charge from? I had been using the low pressure side of the compressor but this is cumbersome.

Also, my #9 fuse (Bavaria) heats up like hell with the AC on but the diagram says #9= "Heater blower". Using the heater blower causes no issues, only the AC. Thanks

The A/C fan has it's own fuse near the relay next to radiator and turning on A/C disables heater blower fan with another relay. There must be a ground somewhere.

On the original setup the only way to fill up with freon is to burn your hands. I installed different ports when I redid mine. One way to do it would be to put the gauge lines on the compressor with a cold engine, warm it up and charge the system then let it cool down before removing the hoses.
