A rare BMW

To me Bmw's usually look alittle dated because of their sharp lines.

My daily driver is my 2007 M6.

Yes it looks dated and yes I love it.

The m1 was way ahead of this time it has the 1990's bmw front and grill

"rare"

I guess we're spoiled here in Southern California, I've actually seen a couple of these on the road, many more at various events. It's funny, I see cars every day driving around that people in other places call "rare". I always have to remind myself that So Cal is not normal (in many ways).

I have a friend who has a 1963 3200 cs in silver. No sorry its not for sale and never will be. I thought that was rare car!

If you talk your friend into selling the 3200 you'll get the finder's fee for the sale plus you would have made another friend.

If he was dead you'd have to pry the key out of his hand, lol. He let me drive it once on my birthday for an hour. Those cars are impossible to find, epecially in perfect origional shape. The car was kept in his family and garaged since new!

I've seen a couple 3200CS-es on ebay over the years, but they are usually pretty beat up.

Why did they have to use a big-bumper coupe pic for the standard E9? Since when is an Isetta a desirable BMW? I've seen a bunch mostly as a semi-joke among collectors.

We saw a nice M1 at o'fest this year. they are quite cool

Yes, why a big-bumpered, reflector adorned, plain old CS. Where is the Bat Mobile or a least a street CSL.

Boring looking car! - Hoffmeister much improved it to stunning E9!

Rare M1

This is a nice M1, with the M colors and signature of Jochen Neerpasch!
Seen during the AvD oldtimer grandprix 2011.

Maybe part of the BMW museum collection?
