A.S.S. - Auto Sport Spezialsitze Type 5/01/S - Scheel Black Leather Seats
Purchased from a gentleman in E. Dallas several years ago and installed in a '02 that I sold around time of the pandemic.
That purchaser eventually sold the car but had replaced seats with originals. I got wind of this and reached out and re-purchased the seats.
I have never seen seats like these in leather which leads me to believe that the original seller was truthful about saying they were extra rare - imported from Europe; I assume Germany.
They are in overall good condition with tilt lever and slider functions working as they should. Sadly, there is some damage/imperfections on passenger seat noted in pics.
Could be repaired but never bothered me enough to do it. Restored I do think the value would increase significantly if this was done as would appeal to the 3.0 liter owners.
The bad news is I have no way to ship these. I believe they are too large for the normal to ship wardrobe boxes and I don't see any way (for me) to get them to FedEx.
Any viable solution could be explored but local pick-up is obviously preferred.
