Has anyone pulled together some listing of parts that are scarce (or overpriced) -and hence desirable to pick up if seen? Thinking of small/medium sized stuff, not body panels or engines. I'm sure a full list would be out of question.... But perhaps some guidance to be found?? Thanks! Paul

Here is the list of parts I have not found yet:
- The little grommet around the door lock button
- Seat release lever knob (there are two types, I need to match the other one I have so don't offer me the wrong type).
- Cable and knob to reset the trip odometer. I took it apart and saved it in safe place but forgot where
- Horse hair for the seats. Do not offer me the entire horse cause the cost of labor in Norcal is pretty high. Do not offer me other horse derivatives, I get plenty of those at work.
- Foam that goes between the floor and the carpet, driver side.
- 1953 truck lid

Arde, which seat release are you looking for, I may have a couple. Could use that driver side floor foam though myself.
BTW, what part of the horse does that sought after hair come from, I can go to my ranch with a pair of shears this afternoon maybe

Here are pictures of useful parts you may have available, also need a good hood release knob.

the conical seat tilt knob is a bit more NLA, i have had a set not so long time ago
we do not have horses, though
The "Horse hair" is a coconut fibre I think?
