A visit to SoCal on June 21st

I've got a trip on the books to Carlsbad and will have some free time Thursday, Friday and Saturday before taking the red eye from San Diego on Saturday night. If anyone has any suggestions in addition to a shop visit to Erik and then la jolla I would appreciate it. As always if anyone has time for beer, coffee or a long trail/road run I'm up for it.

Again it's a fantastic gathering of all sorts of cars. Well worth getting up early Saturday morning to attend.

I'll post a link of examples of other types of cars I saw there in the non-BMw section.

I'll be there, but may be in my '67 Alfa spider.

If you are looking for other automotive events over the weekend, there is a free Rod & Custom show on Saturday at the St. Regis in Dana Point, and a fairly serious classic car show on Sunday (admission on Sunday is $30). See http://www.danapointconcours.org/
 
It was nice to put a few more faces to some of the names here. I had a great time and then had a very nice visit with Peter and Erik which I think is going to cost me. A ride in one of his 3.5s with the full exhaust treatment was awesome.
