Does anyone have a trick to installing new bushings for the accelerator? I have removed the broken ones, removed the rod assembly, and can't get the new ones in?
If you are talking about the large hard rubber grommet-like bushings that the "T" part of the accelerator arm fits into, then I warmed them up carefully with a heat gun - along with some brute force. They were still a pain. And once those are in it is not that easy to get the pedal arm back in.
