Hi fellas , there is difference between the pedal 1968-1973 sept. and 1973 sept. - 1975 , do somebody knows what is exacly the difference ? The price of them is 100 USD the older one and 13 USD the newer one !
I want to change it over the restoration but i cant sleep with this difference !
 
The earlier one is attached at the bottom via 2 pegs on the floor, with mating holes in the pedal. The later one has a flat piece at the bottom which slips into a retainer clip (welded to the floor).
They are not interchangeable.
 
Hmmm, a September 1973 transition suggests a stiffer gas pedal was a first response to the oil embargo :). Small world.
