ACS style bumper opinions?

Any experience or opinions on ACS style front bumper body kits? How does it end up looking?

It is odd that the dtmfiberwerkz website doesn't include any photos of the bumper, either loose or installed. If the product's selling point is that it makes your e24 look better, basic marketing would suggest that some pictures should be included in the ad!

but I was thinking about installing their stuff and no bumper. They have a picture of that.

You mean this:

Yea, it's a picture, but c'mon - it is only ONE picture, they could show the thing from various angles, there could be photos of the rear bumper, cars in several colors, ....

Yes, and the picture has disclaimers. Not sure what to do. Euro bumper swap is too hard to do. I am meeting the body shop guy on Monday and will see what he says.
I am looking forward to my fresh E24, like Diogenes said the more I know men the more I like my E24.

The front bumper looks OK to my eye, but the horizontal line where the bumper meets the fender looks too pronounced.

If the whole kit is on, that line carries across the door so then it makes more sense. In order of preference.

Euro
US, with front spoiler, bumpers tucked if possible
ACS full kit
ACS front bumper only.

My 2 cents of course.

Agree, now looking at the OEM dam, though it seems to be for post 6/87 builds and mine is 10/86.

Thanks!

Went to check progress on the repaint and it turns out there is a Coupe being reborn next to it. Strange mix of gold color and Polaris color pieces, this is at Gabriel's shop so the result should be good.

Shanon I think the Euro that was just posted would be awesome after you are done with it:

and at that price you cannot lose, just the parts are worth it.

C'est fini! The E24 is back on the road!

Ended up using a US spoiler with fog lights partially made from Bert's used ones.

A great refresh for my loyal E24, with the great smell of a new leather interior.

Will enjoy it for a while and then see if Don can install that fresh head he found.

Therefore it is never fini.
