Hi, looking for some insight where i can find part #'s for 2 hoses to fit the idle control valve to M90 engine.
so far the hoses i have from E12 and E34 535i can get it to fit. I have attached a pic from Mike Burgers engine.
or any other combination size to fit the valve and throttle body.
any helps is appreciated.

There are a few different options to mount and connect the idle valve. Others may know of factory hoses that work, but I had to make a reducer to feed the valve using 2 different hose diameters from the throttle body, and found a section of coolant hose that went between its output and the inlet manifold (l-jet) using the hole for the egr valve

thanks for the info, as I was looking more for a cleaner look, didn't want to many connection to avoid vacuum leaks

The e30 breather hose has the two sizes on one hose that you are probably looking for. We use it at the shop.

Are you adding a later ICV, and/or a different trottle body to the M90? The normal location for that is on top of the back end of the valve cover, not under the manifold. ICV is item 13 in this pic. The hose 15 goes over the intake plenum and connects to the flange that the cold start valve attaches to in the center of the plenum.

Hi, yes adding a later ICV, with same throttle body, i have hose #15 as one end doesn't fit the larger diameter of ICV.. thanks for the info

That lower hose must be a piece of work to get all the way back up to the upper inlet on the TB!!

Scott I was able to find the ICV hose, it's from E12 prior to 1978 part 13 # 11611259414 to answer your question the lower hose is in 2 parts to get up thru throttle body. the diagram you posted is for 1979-1981 has small diameter for the ICV.
Don's suggestion with the E30 hose, I believe would be easier

Don yes there are so many answers, my preference is to hide the ICV under the E21 runners, i believe with the 2 hose parts 11151708801 & 11611259414 would work best.
thanks guys
