As a bit if a technophobe, can someone give me simple(!) instructions as to how one puts a photo on a forum page.
Thanks.

After you click the post reply button and get the dialogue box, click the yellow square
insertimage.gif
and paste the URL of your image on the line as directed and click OK. Your image will appear in the dialogue box. Add text as necessary, submit reply and Bob's your Uncle....

another way is this one:

depending on how much technophobe you are, the following info will be interesting for you. regards

first of all you will have to upload your photo to a web server, for that you will need to create an account, i.e. in photobucket:

http://photobucket.com/

follow the instructions and create the account with a nickname and password

then you can upload pictures there, and when they are uploaded you will get some different codes, i work with the img code:

the img code is the last one in the row of the photobucket system, you will need only to place your pointer over it and click with the left button of the mouse, then it will be copied in your computer buffer, so the next thing to do is to move onto the forum answer box, and paste it there, like this:

general.jpg

hope this helps

Another option is to scroll down to "manage attachments" and upload a photo from your computer's hard drive folder. This will open up a new window for uploading, when that is complete then close th ewindow to return to the reply page to finish writing then submit your post. No website picture hosting service necessary.

Really Nice Bav--

And-- n spite of someone's recent comment on this board suggesting that Bavs were homely--methinks they are the most sleek of sedans for that era--and remain very special today---also becoming rarer than a Coupe as they rust away and are driven to the crusher.

I wish I still had mine--though--no garage space available here for another 4 wheels.
