I noticed a post (in bimmerforum) about putting an additional check valve in the forward fuel line to a CSi. In this way keeping the pressure to the injectors after the engine been turned off.
I wonder if all of you with D-jet have the same problem with pressure drop in fuel line after the engine been turned off? Even shortly after stop also need to do the "CSi starting method" by switching ignition on a few times to build up fuel pressure before cranking the engine?
Anyone here with the experience to add a check valve that might/should fix this annoying starting procedure?
Also, there are no "built in" check valves in fuel pump, filter or regulator as far as I know, so what could retain pressure normally in an original fuel line?
What did I miss?
