Hoping someone can save me some time and effort by sharing their experience with removing the interior B-pillar panels that the front seat belts run through. My interior was converted to black way back when but they didn't do anything with these panels and I suspect it was for a reason. I'd like to dye them black to match.

Hello, There is a black cap that forms the coathanger hook. It slides straight up. Remove two black screws. Slide seat forward and remove cover for seatbelt pivot bolt and remove bolt. Note how shims and washers go. Remove cover and bolt for lower bolt, Note how shims and washers go. Pull gently out from bottom to unsnap each clip as you go to the top. Slide seatbelt through groove. I put in seat belts from a 1984 Jaguar XJ6 in black on my car.
Good Luck.
