Agave on CL and dealer add in SF

This is literally 3 blocks from my house (and these guys are two doors away from EurAsia motors, who did some minor fill work on my current E9 project). I'd be happy to stop by and take a look if you or anyone else is interested.

Please, go look, take pics and report back! Thanks.

Had a chance to take a relatively quick look over lunch today. The dealer seemed a bit put off when I took out my phone to take pics, so I didn't do so. Keep in mind that I was in-and-out relatively quickly so a thorough professional inspection might reveal other concerns or on the other hand might obviate some of mine.

Overall I would say the car is in "OK driver" condition. Nothing stood out as being newly gone-through, but except as noted below nothing stood out as being missing, broken, etc. I asked and they did not want to start the car, which gave me a bit of pause, so I can't vouch for whether or not anything functions.

Exterior: Recent repaint, with no clear areas of major overspray. Looks like the interior was left in but the brightwork was probably removed (and a lot of new rubber seals were probably added at the same time or at least recently). All the parts appear to be there. The brightwork is in reasonably good condition. There is unaddressed rust in the bottom of at least the passenger door (peeking through the paint). The salesman kept telling me the car has had "no rust" in its lifetime, but it looked to me like there may have been work (possibly reasonably well done) on the rockers and other similar places. I briefly looked under the car and didn't see any obvious problems.

Interior: Looks complete. The front seats are Recaros (maybe 80s vintage), and are not color-matched to the leather on the rears (same color family, not same color). However, the carpet was in decent condition. There is recent vintage radio hooked to an amp in the trunk and another in the glovebox, with corresponding speaker installations which appears to me to be done reasonably well. Much of the interior chrome pieces appeared to be damaged and in need of TLC (possibly replacement to look perfect). The wood was reasonably good.

Engine Bay: Appears complete, but dirty. Also, the inner rockers on both sides were repaired with welded-on plates at some point prior to or in connection with the repaint. In addition, there was some major bubbling along the rails between the inner rockers and the fenders. Since this was a major rust area on my coupe, I assume they did not properly address this during the repair. Shock towers (as repaired) looked ok however.

Trunk: Pretty clean. All or most of the elephant hide material appears to be in place.

A few other points, in no particular order:

1. The plate in the engine compartment reads "Tundra" not Agave. It sure looked dark green to me.
2. There are no tools and no toolkit whatsoever.
3. It looks like the car may have Carl's upgraded swaybars.

Happy to answer any specific questions.
