Air intake cold weather flap

I was giving the new to me 2800cs a tune up and removed the air cleaner. It looks like I’m missing a part on the cold weather flap. Can anybody post a pic of what it’s supposed to look like, or identify what is missing?

Here is a close up photo I happen to have of an old one. It looks like you are missing two of the plastic pieces that retain the end of the springs.

I would just leave it in the position that lets cold air in and not worry about it possibly malfunctioning to the hot position at all times

Note that the OP is listed as residing in Helsinki - I suppose it actually gets COLD there, and the warmup provided by that flap could be useful. For myself, the flap is long gone, but that's life in the tropics.
