Alfa Romeo Giulietta: Thoughts ?

Meh...

To be honest, if it had a different central grill it could easily be a new sporty Hyundai...

Isn't that pretty much a Dodge Caliber in a fat suit with one of the Fiat engines? As I recall, Sergio said that many of the Chrysler platforms would be integrated into forthcoming Alfa and Lancia product over the next couple of years, and that was about 2 years ago at this point.

I think that Fiat's involvement in Chrysler is great. They're reportedly making money now. 200 US dealerships are in the making. That means hopefully something positive for our economy as well as the Italians. In my opinion better there than from some other parts of the world that have a great aversion to us.

Since this is a small or mini car, I'd much rather see the brand recognition of Alfa return here than just another new Chrylser Detroit mini line. And Pinnafarina designed it in some form.

The car's not for me personally. But just like E9s, there's a loyal following (and sweet spot) for Alfas and Italian design.:-D

+1 for the Italians. Gracie.
