Ok too much stuff in the shop.
This head was installed and driven about 1k miles before the car was hit and insurance paid off.
It's a very special 1991 casting of the m30 head. This head was produced after all the b34 heads were produced and sold out. This is the last factory casting DOT stickered "R"
(replacement) head with a head design suitable for the e9 coupe.
Only sold as a factory head replacement from BMW. Has a 272 duration(#3)
cam and all new genuine BMW rocker arms and valves, guides. Head will be
shipped at factory spec 129 + mm height with a fresh surface ready for install.
This head was over $3000.00 from dealer. Ready for install- needs nothing.

1250 + actual shipping.

Is that a good choice for E24 1987?

Does the accident after 1k miles bad Juju transfer with the head to the new car?

I checked the lesser known mojometer and called in to Zuul the engine Goddess-
Think heart transplant saving Mother Teressa...... it's a good thing.
This is perfect for e24 up to June 1987.

Hmmm- free deliver to cupertino?

Free installation? I will PM you about when and where options.

You start redoing the interior and somehow it leads to new paint and new head...go figure.

OK, so bidding has opened:

Don, please bring the head as your hand luggage and come and visit us in Cologne (you might feel attempted to come over in early August for the classic/vintage track school and Oldtimer GP at the Nürburg Ring) - free wine and food for the weekend it takes to assemble the engine! ;-)

Cheers
A

Do not get tempted by vague promises, they may give you Eau de Cologne instead of wine. Bidding has closed: Cupertino Uber Alles!

thanks for the good advice Don, i'll work toward having you do a transplant. i've already got the wine covered ... i could keep you stocked for over a year, maybe 3.
