Alpina 14 rims California

These are not the genuine 14" Alpina wheels. They are the "Alpina styled" rims that came on the 74 and later coupes and the early 630/633 CSi's. The spokes have a squared off and ribbed liked appearance vs the radiused and curved spokes on the Alpinas. These rims are not worth very much, perhaps $100-$150 at most, not each, but for the set of fours.

I was wondering what FPS stamp in my wheels meant?Because the they look curved spokes not squared like in the photo but they do have the extra holes? Thanks Tim

These aren't Alpina wheels at all. They came on early 733s and maybe 633s. The offset is wrong for E9s. I remember trying some long ago and that either the rim or the tire rubbed on the strut.

wheels...

Hmm...I thought the 5-lug "turbines" were the standard on the US-spec big bumper coupes and E3's. But I have slept since then....Dave V. in NC

Aha! I love this group as (if I pay attention) I learn something almost daily. God lives in the details; thanks for keeping me straight, Bill. Dave V. in NC

I had grossly overestimated the value of these rims. The final selling price, 4 dollars and ninety-five cents. But then again, with shipping cost, it may add up to near $100.
