1) what is "famous" about that nail-polish colored car?
2) has anyone seen fotos of the drivers side of the golf car in the second link?
3) If these were/are both original cars, why is the price of one 2x that of the other?

The Green one is a CSL rather than a CSi. That accounts for the price difference. The Red one is pretty neat.

Very rare cars, I like the red color better too I never did like that green color and the white one looks cool. Although all drove in Europe over the years with no restoration???

The red one is probably a real conversion, but there is no documentation. The Yellow car is a clone, not a real Alpina but a nice looking CSL. Why the tool kit?

Alpina did convert E9's in 1971. My car (B2-S), was converted in Oct of 71.
