Alpina repro wheels

Fair play to them for doing it though. I guess they just differ in not having the Alpina cast into the centre?

They do seem fairly expensive though and 1500-1600 would be more like it - be interesting to see how fast they sell.
 
Alpina replicas -purists beware.

CJ on the 2002faq board just did a run for the 02 in 15" He was considering doing a run in 17x7 for the e9. The design would feature both the open lug and closed cap feature as it appears on his 02 configuration (yes, on the same rim).

Take a look at the post and reply here or email him directly. I will tell him to take a look at this post to gauge interest. We've been waiting 2-3 years for this to come to fruition on the 02 board. Maybe e9 folks can benefit from the wait.

That is a very nice looking wheel.

And if produced as bespoke (sorry, couldn't resist) for the coupe, would be a great look in 17's.

That is the right price neighborhood as well in the sub-$1K area.
