Notice these advertised as Alpinas, I think they are stock BMW wheels made by FPS and someone has engraved Alpina on them in an effort to pass them off as genuine Alpinas. Any thoughts?
You have to differentiate between the 5 and 10 hole Alpina rims.
The only Alpina 7x14 rims that were installed on CSLs were the 5 hole type, of which there are 2 types, 1110344 and 1110345.
AFIK the 10 hole Alpina rims were not officially for E9‘s.
Some facts: the five additional small holes where installed so that the wheels could be mounted on a newly invented wheel alignment equipment .
Of the early 1110344 type the are two versions, the later one from 72/73 with a smaller rim bed.
