I bought a similar set from him this summer. Gorgeous and full restoration, including barrels and backs. Much more than a $100 front face quickly that most people call a restoration. They may be too nice to put on the car...

Generally speaking, how much would a set like this cost new ? Are genuine Alpinas always superior to others of a similar style ?
Seller can be trusted, he is a great guy and he doesn't cut corners when it comes to BMWs, or anything else!

I recall he won something with an E28 or some such BMW.
If his cars are anything like the wheels he sold me ... I'm not surprised.

Yes, first place in Concours Open class with his e28 and first in Concours Modified at O'fest. A really stunning car.

I bought a set of 14" Alpinas from him (as he had upgraded to staggered set...this set perhaps..). They were better than advertised, beautiful, and properly packed and shipped. Very nice and honest fellow. Wish I could afford this set...
