Alpina wheels for a spare

I'm looking at purchasing Alpina wheels for my not yet arrived e9 - 8Jx16 offset 24 for the rears, and 7Jx16 offset 11 for the front. Can I use an Alpina wheel 7Jx16 offset 11 as a spare? Will it fit on the rears? Will it fit in the trunk and not sit too high for the cover? Thanks. Jeff

Yes you can, but it may not be legal in you country.

Here in the UK is is illegal to have different sized tyres on the same axle unless it is clearly identified as an emergency spare.
Hence space saver spares are often red in colour and have abundant warning labels about maximum speeds etc etc etc
