I am routinely impressed at the quality of car enthusiasts I encounter inside this hobby. The E9 Forum in particular, has an abundance of generous, knowledgeable, and diverse owners that never hesitate to share, advise and support. So, I was over on BAT again, was grazing through favourite salacious offerings, clicked on the lovely Series 3 E-type. In the description was mention of the care of this car by Stew Jones restorations. Something clicked and I remembered this Jaguar specialist had been involved in a serious car accident that put him in a coma, and after he recovered physically, his sight was gone. Hasn't held him back at all, and he continues to work in his shop in Connecticut turning out award-winning modified Jaguars that impress anyone. Amazing! He has a super support crew of course, and it is documented in the attached video. Thought you may find this inspirational, as I surely did! Mike

I have to occasionally be reminded how good I have it. Thanks for the post.
Dave, I hear this. My wife has suffered much damage in a car crash several years ago. Still recovering, but is making great progress. Thankfully, she can still ride her ponies. Even selected an Icelandic that has a particular gait that is "friendly" to injured backs, and such. Rides every day. Cannot imagine a day when she cannot get the high she experiences while she spends time up in that saddle. Happy for her. Reminds me of how Coupe drivers need time out on the road! Your comment reminds me of how fortunate many of us are. :)
