Amelia Island Concours, March 10-12

Not this time, am trying to make the Vintage. Can't believe it's already been a year.

Nope, saving up our time off for the V&CCC run this fall in New Hampshire. Also have to work on the car some this spring. Post pictures!

Sept 8-16 in New Hampshire/Maine. Dirk says the 26 slots are full but you can always send him a note and see if there's a waiting list.

Don, I will be there just for Sunday, as a spectator. My daily driver 1 series will be parked in the dirt by the side of the road.

Scott: I'll be spectating Sunday too (not displaying) so not likely we'll cross paths, regrettably. 60% chance of rain too.

Don

I've seen some excellent pictures from the event. The most significant car to me being the #32 Marmon that won the first Indy 500. Photo by Peter Gleeson aka BMW Pete.

I did lots of looking and talking but not much picture-taking. From what I saw, there were only 2 E9s in the C&C -- ours and a green 2000CS owned by Mr Currell Patty of St Simons Island:

No E9s in the Concours itself. The BMW Classic tent featured the Elvis 507, some lovely 503s, Dirk de Groen's red Z1, and an interesting E3 Alpina owned by BMW Classic:
