another CSL for sale in the UK

At auction in the UK next week.
One photo shows a vinyl roof !
Engine bay looks pretty grungy and is that rust I see peeking out along the top of the inner fender?

I assume this is a city pack because it has full bumpers, yet the description says it has the AL doors.

I am going to have a friend who runs an AC/Aston business go over and look at it on Monday, but I'm curious if anyone on the forum knows something about this car.

Finally, does anyone have a VIN decoder for the CSL that give an idea of the original configuration of the car?

All Uk cars that I have seen - i.e. lots have aluminium doors as original.

Vinyl roof was a common feature added by the dealer in the Uk in the 70's.

I looked at the ad for this a while ago and there is a thread further down - it appears to have a sunroof.

Looks like a nice car to me.
