Another E9 in So Cal- CSi

Chris : I thought those mentions where also a little pedantic. Blue BMW toolkit cloth from a referenced source? On a positive note, it sounds like the seller sweats the small stuff...

Nice looking, but maybe some significant rust issues? Looks like hood has some pretty active bubbles.

Sweet car, but $59k, would need it a bit nicer body on it IMHO.

What's going on w/the inner fender area? Bunch of welds???

Folks, this is my car. Sorry I haven't chimed-in here sooner; it took a lot of whiskey for me to be able to actually put it up for sale. I've sobered up now (at least, for the moment) and I thank you for your interest. I am happy to answer any and all questions.

TFERRER: as far as me listing the sources for the extras (e.g., Bert P. & DeQuincey), I wanted to make sure that it was understood that those parts were not original to the car.

Finally, I'm here in Hollywood and if there's anything that showfolks get worked-up over, it's not receiving credit for things they've done. So giving credit where it's due is a habit of mine, which clearly explains why I'm not more successful.

TEAHEAD: you're correct. Those welds were done as part of the 2003 resto. I asked Peter Sliskovich about them after I first purchased the car & he said, "That's how they do it over there." (the resto was done in Germany)
