This needs a trigger warning before looking at the pics. Those inner fenders are going to be an issue. Hope somebody saves it but begs the question of how could be let go that far. Going to need a whole donor car for sheet metal.
On the up side it comes with a period brochure..

Wow...looks like the entire floor assembly is dropping out on the driver's side.

It would be interesting to see what was left if you sent the shell off to be dipped for restoration. I suspect that you would get back a lot less than you hoped for.

I've seen pictures of this car come by a few times over the past year or so, and I find it such a powerfull image: the red, the neglect, the power that it once had.

I see 2000 hours of body work...
I just spend 2 hours getting this ding out:
.

I think you are recalling the CSL that @TomHom purchased, as shown above. This listing is inka orange and in worse shape.

Sold today for 44,800....including all auction fee's !!!!
Wow, somebody has some $$$ to spend because I highly doubt they will be doing the actual restoration themselves. At least this might be saved. Ads like this are frustrating to me....I just don't get how one can let something that was once a thing of beauty and very rare, get to this state.....mind boggling.
