Another Stupid Question

Two of the small Vacuum pipes that attach to the Carbs (Solex Inat 35) form the legs of a Y , what does the center leg of the Y connect to?

Air filter housing (Where the breather hose from the cylinder head goes in, there is an additional small line input where those lines connect to). They actually aren´t vacuum...

Thanks Tigerfriend, I saw that and wondered why Blocking it off with a Golf ball tee (Golf Yellow rather than Agave) made the idling smoother?

Seriously, I only know where they go, not what they´re good for...

I can assure you they suck Air in, holding your finger over the end there is definite pressure.
